Facilities
This trunk introduces students to Jennie Dean and the history of the Manassas Industrial School for Colored Youth, founded by Dean in 1893. Contents include objects representing different subjects taught at the school, documents and photographs related to the school’s history, and a book on Jennie Dean’s life.
Note:
Trunks are rented for one week at a time, and a second week is available at a discounted rate. Email vliantonio@manassasva.gov with questions or concerns.
