Facility Details
Confederate troops occupied the fort from 1861-1862, and Union troops occupied the fort from 1862 to 1864. Read interpretive markers, visit the remains of the Hooe family farm Mayfield, and walk paved paths to the top of the fort. Parking available on site. No restrooms. Park is open from dawn to dusk.
